Registration Deadline – April 9th
Our softball program introduces and develops age appropriate skills and game play strategies that lead to steady improvement, and provide a solid foundation for success and lifelong enjoyment of the game. Children will be taught proper techniques, and be given plenty of opportunity to showcase their skills in scheduled league games.
Players will participate in weekly practices and an 8-10 game season. Children will receive a team t-shirt and team cap
Participants must supply their own gloves, gray pants, cleats, and helmet.
If you are unable to provide your own baseball helmet, please contact Jay McDonough, jmcdonough@hartford-vt.org. The Parks & Rec Dept will issue you a helmet to use for the season
Games will be played against surrounding upper valley teams.

The Junior Softball Program is for players in 3rd & 4th Grade. This is an introduction to “kid pitch” softball.
The Senior Softball Program is for players in 5th & 6th Grade. Players pitch the entire game.
