After School Kayak Adventure - WRS Kayaking
Trip Leaders: Tatum Barnes & Jay McDonough Join experienced Parks & Recreation staff for an exciting after-school kayak outing on the beautiful Connecticut River! This fun and safe adventure gives 4th and 5th graders the chance to paddle with classmates, enjoy the great outdoors, and learn basic kayaking skills under the guidance of trained leaders. Details:
Who: 4th & 5th Graders
Cost: Free
Transportation: Provided from school to Kilowatt Park North
Pick-Up: Parents will pick up at Hartford Town Hall at 5:30 PM
What to bring? Kayakers will need a water bottle, river shoes and clothing they can get wet. We will provide a snack.
All equipment is included—kayak, paddle, and life jacket—just bring your sense of adventure! Spaces are limited, so sign up early for this memorable river experience!
