Don’t let the funny name fool you, Pickleball is a recreational game providing extraordinary physical fitness benefits for all ages.Location: White River School GymNets will be set-up on three courts and we encourage you to bring your own paddle. We have some paddles available if needed Registration is required. No drop-in play. All abilities welcome.Limited number of spaces available for each session.Participants are limited to sign-up for 1 session, not both.

Pickleball Active Play Pass: Pickleball might be a strange name, but it's a ton of fun! Pickleball is a paddle sport created for all ages and skill levels. The rules are simple, and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players. We always welcome new players. Come give it a try! We have equipment on-site that can be used if you need it. This is great exercise and lots of fun for all ages!

Pickleball Active Play Pass: Pickleball might be a strange name, but it's a ton of fun! Pickleball is a paddle sport created for all ages and skill levels. The rules are simple, and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players. We always welcome new players. Come give it a try! We have equipment on-site that can be used if you need it. This is great exercise and lots of fun for all ages!

Registration Deadlines: Majors/Minors: April 1st  Rookies: April 18th Youth Baseball program is for Hartford Residents only.  All participants will be issued a team shirt and team cap.  Participants must supply their own gloves, gray pants, cleats, and helmet. (Gray pants are optional for Rookies). If you are unable to provide your own baseball helmet, please contact Jay McDonough, jmcdonough@hartford-vt.org. The Parks & Rec Dept will issue you a helmet to use for the season The Majors Baseball Program is for players in 5th & 6th Grade. (Days: M,W,F, Sat) Times may vary between 5pm-8pm on weekdays. Saturday are reserved for make-up games only. If we have multiple teams, teams are divided equally by skill level. Majors Baseball will play by the Cal Ripken rules and be part of the Upper Valley Cal Ripken League. End of season tournament will take place in early June.   MAJORS Skills Assessments – Outside at Maxfield or Indoors at WABA (weather dependent)Monday, April 7th  5th Graders:     5:30PM - 6:30PM 6th Graders:     6:30PM - 7:30PM The Minors Baseball Program is for players in 3rd & 4th Grade. (Days: Tu,Th, Sat) Times may vary between 5pm-8pm on weekdays and 9:00am-1:00pm on Saturdays). If we have multiple teams, teams are divided equally by skill level. Minors Baseball will play by the Cal Ripken rules and be part of the Upper Valley Cal Ripken League. End of season tournament will take place in early June. MINORS Skills Assessments – Outside at Maxfield or Indoors at WABA (weather dependent) Tuesday, April 8th 3rd Graders:     5:30PM - 6:30PM 4th Graders:     6:30PM - 7:30PM ROOKIES: Rookies is more advanced than the Lil’ Hitters program, but the focus is still very much on skill progression and FUNdamentals.  Teams will play on a field with 60' bases and the coach will be pitching. Looking to learn some basic ultimate frisbee skills or maintain/improve your skills during the winter season while having a blast with a great group of people?  Join us in the Hartford High School gymnasium on Sunday nights from 7 - 9 pm for a fun, smaller scale, fast paced version of ultimate frisbee!   Players of all experience and ability levels welcome and encouraged to join.  Please bring a white and dark shirt (no gray) each week so that we can mix up teams.
