Registration Deadline of September 1, 2020.Fall Youth Sports Updated8/25/2020 Sports Programs will start the week of September 8th. Parks & Recreation Fall Sports programs will be offered as in-house programs for fall 2020. No outside games with surrounding towns/teams. Fall Sports programs will be offered to Hartford Residents only. A neck gaiter and team t-shirt will be provided to participants as part of registration All participants must have a facial covering in their possession at all times and used as necessary. Coaches, parents and spectators must wear a facial covering during all practices/games. Participants must conduct a health check prior to joining each practice/game. Health checks will be performed by parents prior to arrival and may be reinforced by coach or HPRD Staff. Coaches will regularly disinfect and clean equipment/supplies touched by participants. Hartford Parks & Recreation has 4 Pickleball Courts which are located at The Maxfield Sports Complex. Pickleball is a paddle sport created for all ages and skill levels. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players. We always welcome new players. Come give it a try! We have equipment on-site that can be loaned out if you need it. This is great exercise for all ages!

Participate in a Let’s Go Fishing Workshop – The Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department’s premiere fishing and water resource education program, taught by certified Let’s Go Fishing Instructors. The Let’s Go Fishing program is a hands-on aquatic resource education program that focuses on introducing people of all ages – with an emphasis on families – to fishing and water resources in Vermont. Participants get a chance to re-connect with the land and experience our state’s beautiful outdoors in a healthy, happy, and ethical manner. Each workshop teaches participants this, along with developing an understanding for the sport of fishing and the natural resources it depends upon. All equipment is provided. Participants in this program do not need a VT Fishing License for this program.What’s the catch? Adults must bring a child and children must bring an adult since you’ll be learning and fishing together
