Rising Stars Theater Academy - Rising Stars Theater Academy Camp Director: Kristen ChapmanHonk, JR! Is a heartwarming and humorous retelling of The Ugly Duckling. Honk, JR follows Ugly, a bird who looks different from his siblings, as he journeys to find his place in the world, evades a hungry cat, and ultimately discovers that being different is something to celebrate.Rising Stars Theater Camp is the perfect place for young kids to explore the magic of theater in a supportive and playful environment. Through games, rehearsals, and creative expression, campers will work toward a joyful end-of-week performance that showcases their hard work and growing confidence.This is an audition-based all-day camp. Academy members will work on singing, performing, movement, and creating a play that will be performed for an audience on the final day of camp. Football Camp - Football Camp Instructors: Hartford Varsity and Middle School Football staff The players will be taught the fundamentals of football by the Hartford Varsity and Middle School staff. Each day will be spent learning individual offensive and defensive skills as well as team concepts. Friday is used as a make-up day in the event of bad weather during the week. Players who have not received a helmet and shoulder pads prior to camp may pick them up Monday, July 13th between 4:00p-5:00p. Players are required to have a mouth guard and water bottle.Players must be going into grades 7-12.Friday, 7/17 will be used as a rain make-up if needed.
