  • The Hartford Selectboard appointed a team of community volunteers to serve on the Pool Committee.  An important part of the committee’s work is to gather feedback from Hartford residents about the present pool located at Hartford High School.  We ask that you take a couple minutes to complete our preliminary survey to help us understand how you feel about the pool.  We ask that you complete the five questions by July 20, 2018.    Thank you for taking our survey.

Career Opportunity: Park Laborer-Turf Crew Leader (PL-TCL)

The Town of Hartford, Vermont is seeking a qualified candidate for the full time position of Parks Laborer with a specialty focus on turf and park facilities and grounds. The Park Laborer – Turf Crew Leader performs a wide variety of duties necessary to maintain all Town parks, recreational facilities and athletic fields. The position requires the operation of a variety of specialized power equipment such as, but not limited to: commercial lawn mowers, string trimmers, chainsaws, backpack blowers, tractors and ice resurfacing machines. The position is responsible for maintaining turf, athletic fields, courts and its management program. This is a 40 hour position involving scheduled nights and weekends.

Processing Fee for Credit/Debit card purchases: ALL registrations completed with a credit or debit card will be charged a processing fee. The processing fee is calculated by using 3.5% of your total purchase. This processing fee will be applied as a separate charge during checkout. Online registration is here for your convenience; you can register for programs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from the comfort of your own home or mobile device.

Refund Policy: If you are dissatisfied with a program after the first session (class), you must submit a written explanation to the Hartford Parks and Recreation Department prior to the second session (class) to be eligible to receive a refund.  In the event of an extended illness or injury, we must be notified immediately and we will issue a prorated refund.  A medical and/or doctor explanation will be required.  We cannot issue refunds for select bus trips, ticketed events, or special events. Cancellations of Ventures camp sessions are eligible for full refunds up to one week prior to each session's start date. Refunds of 50% will be permitted for cancellations received during the week prior to any Ventures session's start date. Full refunds will be issued for programs cancelled or altered by the Hartford Parks and Recreation Department. An administration fee of $5.00 will be charged for all processed refunds.
