Registration Deadlines: Majors/Minors: April 1st Rookies: April 18th This youth baseball program is open to Hartford residents only. All registered participants will receive a team shirt and team cap.Required Equipment (provided by family): Baseball glove Gray baseball pants (optional for Rookies) Cleats Baseball helmet If you are unable to provide a baseball helmet, please contact Jay McDonough at jmcdonough@hartford-vt.org. The Little Hitters program is the perfect introduction to baseball and softball for your young slugger! The Little Hitters program is designed to develop skills including hitting, catching, throwing, and base running. Using age-appropriate equipment, children will learn the fundamentals and rules of the game in a safe and structured environment. Each session consists of a series of fun games, and activities that encourage skill development, teamwork, and most importantly, fun! Participants need to bring their own glove and a water bottle to practice.COACHES NEEDED: Coaches are needed for this program. If you are available and/or willing please email Jay McDonough, jmcdonough@hartford-vt.org. You will be asked to coach your child’s team.
