Hartford Parks and Recreation Department Cancellation Policy: All cancellations/refund requests must be submitted by email to recreation@hartford-vt.org. Sports - Programs canceled by individuals before the first program session will receive a refund or credit minus a $10.00 cancellation fee and minus any uniform/equipment fees. No refunds or credits will be given after the first practice. Camps – This applies to all HPRD Camps (Ventures, Specialty Camps, Sports, Theater, etc.) Camp cancellations will be assessed a $50 fee per session. To be eligible for a camp refund or credit, cancellations must be made by June 15th. No refunds or credits will be issued on cancellations made after June 15th.
If you are dissatisfied with a program and wish to withdraw, you must submit a written explanation prior to the second session/class/practice to be eligible for a refund. Extenuating circumstances such as injuries, illness, etc., will be subject to review on a case-by-case basis. Doctor’s note or further explanation may be requested. Refunds will be issued for programs canceled or altered by the Hartford Parks and Recreation Department. Refunds may take three to four weeks to process. No cash refunds.
