Teenage Boys And Girls Basketball Practice
Grades 3rd-6th Registration Deadline – November 20, 2023.
Grades K-2 Registration Deadline – December 30, 2023

Youth Basketball programs are offered for all Hartford residents in grades Kindergarten through 6th grade. 
The objective of HPRD's youth basketball program is to provide an opportunity for children to play basketball in an organized, competitive, yet recreational setting.
The program emphasis will be teaching basic skills and fundamentals, as well as teaching fair play, teamwork, and sportsmanship. 
Each player will receive a team t-shirt.
All participants must provide their own mouth guard and indoor sneakers.
Players in grades 3-6 will be split up into equally matched teams.
 
Practice and game times may vary between 4:00pm-8:00pm on weeknights, and 8:00am-2:00pm on Saturday’s, depending on the number of teams and gym availability.
For Grades 3rd-6th – Teams will play games against surrounding towns and travel and have opportunities to play in tournaments. (approx. 10-12 games)

K-2 Basketball is an in-house program which divides participants into small groups during practices and focuses on skill development and fun. 
Kindergarten: 9:00am-9:45am
1st Grade: 10:00am-10:45am
2nd Grade: 11:00am-12:00pm
