This is an introduction to the game of lacrosse for boys and girls in grades K-2. The program will teach the fundamentals of lacrosse in a fun, positive and safe environment. This will be a non-contact, non-equipment program. Players will be broken out into groups and rotate as a team between 3-4 teaching stations each week.
Age appropriate equipment is used in teaching shooting, passing, catching, cradling, stick handling and running and agility.
Sticks and Balls will be provided.
Each participant receives a t-shirt.
COACHES NEEDED: Coaches are needed for this program. If you are available and/or willing please email Jay McDonough, jmcdonough@hartford-vt.org. You will be asked to coach your child’s team. No experience necessary just enthusiasm and a desire to work with youth. Your help is appreciated.
