Learn the classic game of chess! In addition to being correlated to improved academic performance, chess is the perfect vehicle to teach critical thinking, support decision making, and build self-confidence. Whether you’re a beginner looking to learn the basics, or an expert looking for new strategies and tactics, Chess Club is the perfect low-stress environment to develop your skills. All materials will be provided, in addition to a snack, outdoor playtime, and the opportunity to enjoy some of your favorite recreational board games.
